Serenitee’s Mark McDonough discusses the newly conceived Dine Out Cape Ann with the Gloucester Daily Times. Dine Out Cape Ann runs for two weeks Sunday, Oct. 25, to Thursday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 1, to Thursday, Nov. 5.
Cape Ann is throwing away the tired restaurant week model and taking a fresh approach with Dine Out Cape Ann, aimed at highlighting the unique flavor of each participating restaurant. The two week event will take place October 25-29 and November 1-5, 2015 in restaurants throughout Cape Ann – including Alchemy, Latitude 43 and Cala’s.
I have one and every week free stuff shows up on there. Free Brunch at Alchemy, Free brunch at Opus, Free Dessert, Just The Other Day We used Alicia Unleashed’s Free Sushi Roll that Showed Up On her Rewards Card…
We’re bringing Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer to the North Shore – again! Each Serenitee restaurant will be creating their own special dessert for the event – and 100% of the sales from that dessert will go directly to Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer.
Diners will find an impressive variety on Cala’s dinner menu. You can choose from pub food, such as Mexican street tacos ($5 each) and the haddock sandwich (fried or baked, $14), or elegant entrees featuring seafood, steaks, ribs, and pasta dishes. Pumpkin and squash ravioli ($19) is one of Cala’s best sellers, Cushman said.
There are also nightly specials, and I was tempted by a house favorite, the lobster roll ($17). This delicacy is served every day in the summer, but typically only on Wednesdays in the winter.
