Artist Kathleen George is now showing at Opus through the end of August. This show is Kathleen’s first public exhibit and we couldn’t be happier to have her hanging at a Serenitee Restaurant. Each piece in the exhibit is made using acrylic paint over sanded wood, layered many times, and then hand framed.
A note from the artist, Kathleen:
"I have loved art my whole life…a window into true beauty, a silence that is so communicative, colors and shapes that can leap off a flat canvas or piece of wood, art that can loom large and fill an entire room or be so tiny and still but draw a viewer deep inside. I am so happy when I paint; lately I am making space for this art that I have loved always."
