Looking for something to do with the kiddos this week? Latitude 43 is offering make your own sundaes now through Friday in honor of school vacation. Picture it: You have a refreshing cocktail in one hand and chopsticks in the other, all while the kids work diligently on their sundae masterpiece. It almost sounds too good to be true.
Serenitee’s Mark McDonough discusses the newly conceived Dine Out Cape Ann with the Gloucester Daily Times. Dine Out Cape Ann runs for two weeks Sunday, Oct. 25, to Thursday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 1, to Thursday, Nov. 5.
Cape Ann is throwing away the tired restaurant week model and taking a fresh approach with Dine Out Cape Ann, aimed at highlighting the unique flavor of each participating restaurant. The two week event will take place October 25-29 and November 1-5, 2015 in restaurants throughout Cape Ann – including Alchemy, Latitude 43 and Cala’s.
…Given Cape Ann’s relationship with artists, local paintings are just about everywhere, including restaurants such as Latitude 43, a six-year-old seaside cynosure that has 400 seats, including its outdoor deck, as well as a frenzied two-chef sushi pit. Rotating painting exhibitions are always on the menu.
…At Latitude 43, fresh-caught local fish stars in everything from chowders and entrees to sushi in a cozy warm space decorated with subtle maritime flair, while its bar, Minglewood Tavern, hosts live music and an occasionally, let’s say, “spirited” crowd
